早安洲美:記錄性圖畫書分析與創作

摘要


本研究意圖創作記錄性圖畫書,為即將消失的洲美社區與其內的洲美國小留下紀錄。洲美社區是個質樸且未完全開發的地區,隨處可見的稻田是居民們眼中最美麗的風景,社區裡許多因禁建而保留原始風貌的老房子,也成為當地的特色。除此之外,全台唯一的屈原宮更是洲美居民共同的信仰聖地。洲美國小的孩子是洲美社區最主要的活力來源,直到現在校方仍然努力的經營學校,期望為孩子留下更多珍貴的回憶。研究者期望透過圖畫書特有的感染力,帶給師生與社區居民真實的感動,並將洲美的部份風貌保存下來。讀者群以洲美國小師生為主,當地居民為輔。此外研究者也藉此發展出兼顧親和性與真實性的記錄性圖畫書之創作流程。在實際創作階段中,歷經文獻探討、現有檔案資料分析、實地考察記錄、與訪談相關人物,四方整合結果發展主要創作內容,在形式上以個人風格為主並參考既有圖書形式與文獻分析結果,逐漸發展出圖畫書雛型;最後面對讀者回饋,加入修正與補充的過程,最終完成以圖為主、文為輔的記錄性圖畫書。研究經真實測試所歸納出的「記錄性圖畫書創作流程」為:在動機升起之後,將相關文獻探討、檔案資料分析、實地考察、訪談、與既有相關圖畫書分析,五方訊息之整合歸納,並加入研究者之創作風格與創意,發展成創作計畫。完成繪本後匯入讀者回饋,再修改補充而成最後版本。

This research aimed to create a documentary picture book in order to conserve the views of Zhoumei community that will be removed from the landscape due to the city development in two years later. Zhoumei community is a down-to-earth and semi-developed area. The ready view of the rice fields is available anytime, anywhere to the residents. Due to restrictions on developments, a lot of the legacy architectures preserve the original flavor of the community, making it the main attraction of the place. In addition, the one and only “Quyuan Gong” in Taiwan are also located in this community, bringing on the religious and their influences in the community. Children are the main focus of the people in the community. The primary school has been built up over the years and continues to receive good contributions from the people in the community, in hopes of leaving the kids a precious experience of childhood. The researcher hopes that they can touch the hearts of the students and the residents through picture books, and preserve the unique features of community. The students and teachers of Zhoumei Elementary School and community people were the presumed readers in this case. In addition, the researcher developed a process to create such a documentary picture book that is realistic and vivid. In the actual writing stage, it includes literature review, analysis of existing archives, field inspection, and had an interview with the inhabitant. The researcher integrated all of the information to create contents. The form of the picture book is based on personal style, and an original draft of the picture book is developed by taking the form of picture books and literary analyses into account. Finally, based on the readers’ feedbacks, the documentary picture book is finished after cautious amendments. The researcher developed a model to create such documentary picture book: After raised the motivation, it includes literature review, document analysis, field study, interview, and analysis of the form and styles of existed documentary picture books. The conclusion of above five dimensions with illustrator’s artistic style and idea will form the blueprint of the book. It’s necessary that the illustrator makes final changes to enrich and deepen the contents or forms, according to the readers’ responses, to ensure the best presentation of such book.
