回憶的迷走街–懷舊表現手法應用於圖畫書創作研究

摘要

兒童圖畫書是一種多元且豐富的媒材，只要能溫和的吸收、咀嚼和反芻，就能當作學習的催化劑，成為和世界接軌的跳板，每一本傑出的圖畫書，都是一座兒童由自我到他人甚至到世界的最佳橋樑。台灣地理位置特殊，身處於複雜的殖民歷史和深遠的中華傳統影響，文化日趨複雜，但台灣所謂的「獨特性」相對薄弱，近年來世界觀普及，國與國的距離拉近，在地文化保存和發展漸受重視，只有保存差異性，才能不被世界的洪流所吞沒，而文化保存方式之一，就是藝術品的創作，本研究的重點即是「懷舊圖畫書」。
懷舊（Nostalgia）是一種受情感、時間、地點、文化、歷史背景等影響的構成物，不僅是情感的表現，也是一種現代創作形式，每個人都有懷舊情緒，即使沒有親身體驗過舊時代，但透過物品和影像刺激，甚至口述過程，對過去時光產生一種憧憬。圖畫書也是如此，無論故事或畫風，描述童年時代所擁有的夢幻時刻，即使是成年人也能有所共鳴，懷舊圖畫書更是引起懷舊情緒獨特種類。以描繪台灣文化為手段，建立獨有語言，創造國人共同記憶，相信能凝聚向心力，是一個非常適合台灣圖畫書創作的指標。
第一部份為前言，闡述創作動機及研究流程；第二部份為文獻探討，將懷舊圖畫書定義、特質、以及相關風格作一個整理；第三部分為探討懷舊元素、氛圍創造與名家分析，試圖建立一套懷舊表現手法應用於圖畫書創作的系統。第四部分為作品實作，進行草圖發想、Layout、設色、正式完稿，共三本書。文末進行檢討與修正以補其不足之處，以便於日後創作的自我定位。

Children’s picture books is a diverse and abundant media. It can be used as a catalyst for learning and a springboard for connecting the world, as long as we use it well. Each of outstanding picture books is the best bridge for children taking themselves to other people, even this world. Due to Taiwan’s special geographic position, located in a complex colonial story and deeply affected by traditional Chinese thought to cause the culture is increasingly complicated; however, Taiwan’s so-called “uniqueness” is turned into weak. In recent years, world view is popularized, and the distance between countries getting closer and closer. People find out that it is very important to preserve and develop local culture. Because only keep the difference, it can be remained without being engulfed by this world. And one way of preservation cultures is the creation of works of art. The point in this study is “nostalgic picture book.”
Nostalgia is a composition which affected by emotion, time, place, culture, historical background, etc. It is not only emotional expression, but also performance of creation. Everyone has feelings for nostalgia. Even though without experiencing old age, we still have visions of past time through articles and image stimulation, or stories are told by someone else. Nostalgia picture book is a unique type, it describes childhood dream moment. And no matter what kind of stories or styles that can cause sympathetic chord, even adults can feel it. Therefore, it is very suitable for being an indicator of Taiwanese picture book. By describing Taiwanese culture, it can establish distinctive language, create people common memories, and condense centripetal force.
The first part of introduction is to explain creation motivation and study procedure. In the second part is literature review to clarify the definition of nostalgia picture book, characteristics, and related styles. For the third part is to discuss nostalgic elements, atmosphere creation, and famous writer analysis. And also attempt to build one system for nostalgic performance skills used in picture books. The forth part is works implementation to create draft, layout, color, officially finalized. The total is three books. The end of study is review and revision to make up for deficiencies in order to facilitate creation of self-image in the future.
