大學通識教育常期望藉著藝術課程來進行審美教育,以達成藝術生活化,生活藝術化的理想目標。然而由於課程規劃不周全,教室設備不足,使用空間設計不當等問題,使得審美教育無法落實於大學通識教育。若能以人本主義為根基,借重視覺藝術為課程基本運用教材,來進行審美教育的內涵培養,必能達成審美教育目標,並使學校審美教育的實施顧及日常生活。
