台灣圖文傳播科技發展歷程之研究

摘要

本研究旨在描述、探討、分析台灣圖文傳播科技發展歷程及未來發展趨勢，藉由文獻的蒐集、整理、歸納、詮釋，除回顧過去台灣圖文傳播科技發展歷程，冀望能留下本土的記錄，並探討圖文傳播產業未來發展機會與趨勢，提出未來發展方向的建議。
為達到研究目的，本論文採歷史研究法（Historical Method）進行研究，以時間的先後順序來探討圖文傳播科技發展歷程。經由收集相關研究、政府出版品、主計處統計資料、產業調查報告、實地訪查及專家訪問方式進行；其次，針對圖文傳播產業發展現況及未來發展的議題，進行專家訪談，收集目前產業界及學術界專家學者的意見。依照歷史研究法之步驟，蒐集、調查、綜合、詮釋文獻資料，次第進行、整理分析以得到最後結論。
本研究結果發現：
1. 台灣圖文傳播科技發展歷程，在光復前之印製流程以手工或手搖機械為主；光復後自動化機械逐漸取代人力，朝更經濟、快速、高品質的目標發展。
2. 目前台灣圖文傳播科技發展，因為受到產業發展所遭遇到的困境如：市場太小、市場萎縮；設備過剩、同業惡性競爭；政府政策未重視；人才培育問題等，間接影響圖文傳播科技的應用與發展。
3. 台灣圖文傳播科技發展趨勢受到產業經營趨勢、技術發展趨勢、產品市場趨勢等的影響。
4. 未來台灣圖文傳播產業發展契機應在於外銷市場上的突破。
5. 台灣圖文傳播科技發展，視奠定產學發展的需要，專業人才的培養、管理者新思維、政府政策的制定等因素所影響。

The purpose of this thesis is to describe, discuss and analyze the development of Taiwan’s Graphic Communications technology, including the early history and the future tendency by collecting, organizing, and interpreting the related literature. The paper aims to keep the record of the development of Taiwan’s Graphic Communications technology. Some suggestions are made for the future development of Taiwan’s Graphic Communications industry by investigating its potential and coming tendency.
Historical method is adopted to achieve the goal of this study and the development of Taiwan’s Graphic Communications technology is discussed chronologically. The investigation is conducted by collecting the related research, government publications, national statistics (DGBAS), research paper from industry, field research, and interview with the experts. In addition, the issues of our interviews are about the current development of the Graphic Communications and the future tendency. The experts are from both industry and academic circles. According to the procedure of historical method, we collect, investigate, integrate, and interpret the related literature and then analyze the results before the conclusion is made.
The findings of this study are listed below,
1. In the history of Taiwan’s Graphic Communications technology, the printing procedure was by hand or hand machine before 1945, automatic machines gradually replaced manpower after that, with their quality keep improving to serve the requirement of economy and speed.
2. The current development of Taiwan’s Graphic Communications technology is suffered from the problems which each industry will undergo, such as the market being small or shrinking, the surplus of the equipment, the vicious competition of the same trade, the negligence of government, and personnel training. And these factors indirectly affect the applying and the development of Graphic Communications technology.
3. The future tendency of Taiwan’s Graphic Communications technology is influenced by the trends of industry management, of technology development, and of the product market.
4. The future development of Taiwan’s Graphic Communications industry depends on its breakthrough in the foreign market.
5. The future development of Taiwan’s Graphic Communications technology all depends on the requirement of industry and education, the training of professionals, the new thoughts of managers, and the government policies.
