本研究主要的目的在調查九年一貫課程試辦階段,國民中小學教師對於九年一貫課程綱要內涵之瞭解程度,及自我導向專業發展的現況。 為達成上述研究目的,本研究首先分析整理相關文獻,作為研究發展與編製問卷之基礎;其次,採用問卷調查輔以訪談的方法來蒐集資料。研究之主要工具為研究者自編的「國民中小學教師自我導向專業發展調查問卷」,問卷調查以台北縣、市八十八學年度起參與九年一貫課程試辦之國民中小學教師為調查研究對象,計44所學校、726位教師,回收有效問卷398份,佔總樣本的54.82﹪。訪談對象為台北縣、市四所參與試辦的國民中、小學校之教務主任或教學組長。 調查所得的資料,以SPSS 10.0 for Windows 套裝統計軟體進行次數分配百分比及卡方檢定等統計處理,最後再綜合訪談資料加以探討分析,分別自九年一貫課程試辦階段教師專業發展現況,與教師自我導向專業發展之動機、需求、資源、誘因、影響因素及途徑等層面提出結論。最後根據研究結論,分別對制訂教師專業發展制度與未來研究方向提出建議。
The purpose of this research is to investigate the elementary and junior high school teachers’ level of understanding towards the content of Grade 1-9 Curriculum Guidelines during the grade 1-9 education trial phase. The current situation of teachers’ self-directed professional development is also investigated. We review and analyze relevant literature as the basis of the compilation of questionnaire. Questionnaire and interview are the tools for data collection. “The elementary and junior high school teachers’ self-directed professional development questionnaire” is the major research tool. The questionnaires are sent to the elementary and junior high school teachers who participate in the Grade 1-9 education and reside in Taipei city and county. The total samples are 44 schools and 726 teachers. The number of valid returned questionnaires is 398, which is 54.82% of the total samples. The interview subjects are the dean of academic affair and head of studies section of four schools, which participate in Grade 1-9 education experiment. We conduct the statistical data analysis by using SPSS 10.0 for Windows. We show our insight into the current position of teachers’ self-directed professional development and each level of their motivation, needs, resources, incentives, impact factors, and career path based on the result of data analysis and interview. Finally, we propose our recommendation for the draft of teachers’ professional development system and future research directions.
