竹材特性應用於產品造形設計創作之研究

摘要

本研究旨在探討竹材之材料特性，應用於產品造形設計之可行性。擬透過文獻探討法，針對過去的文獻資料進行蒐集，配合田野調查、專家訪談等方式，和自己多年來與竹接觸的認知，對竹材的特性有更深入的了解，以此作為產品創作之基礎，將竹材的特性發揮到極限，讓竹材產品呈現新的風貌。
在設計創作研究中，將透過六件作品來進行實驗，以「點、線、面」的觀點出發，作竹材線條構成、連續圖案運用、局部裝飾、其它材質結合、立體成形及視覺上的編織等實驗。希望藉竹材產品的重新設計，讓竹材產品再次於現代生活空間中被應用，並對竹材藝術之創作、技藝傳承與地方產業上能有所貢獻。

The study is to discuss on the potential of bamboo material when it is used in the product design and how to create the special modeling of it. Through the literature reviews, field research, interviewing the artists and experts. Plus the author’s years experience, the author develops the bamboo craft works in a different or higher taste.
In the processes of the creation, the author attempts to experiment by the conception of “point to line to surface” in the representation of six bamboo art works. Bamboo materials’ line formation, continuing patterns, portion decoration, different materials’ combination,3-dimension formation and other’s weaving effects are applied on these artworks. The author attempts to represent bamboo material characteristics to reflect and apply into out daily life. Thus it will offer a good contribution in preserving the skill of bamboo art and craft as well as the local bamboo craft industry.
