本研究以教科書在教學時發揮的功能為評審點出發,在諸多審核通過的「自然與生活科技領域」民編版本教科書中挑選三種,依據課程綱要的教育精神與內涵,比較編輯的結構、活動內容設計、以及評量模式三方面的特質。並將各教科書與各版本的編寫計畫之課程理念作前後的對照,從整體到細部進行詳盡的比較分析。 研究結果發現,三種版本各有所長,亦各有所短;從整體的結構、活動的模式、評量的設計到教學的策略、資料的援引各方面來看,都與綱要及其編輯理念差距頗大。其中康軒與南一版內容豐富,編排體系嚴謹,敘述生動活潑;而翰林版則以簡潔精美著稱。由小以知大,可見目前大部分教科書的發展仍需進一步審視與檢討,必以循序漸進的方式累積各方經驗,加強推廣「新課程」的理念與願景,並期待教育單位持續的關心以及大家共同的努力。
This research aims to evaluate the effects of textbooks upon teaching. Among a good deal of the Science and Technology textbooks that pass the examination, three books are chosen to compare and contrast the structures of the compilation, the designs of the teaching activities and the ways of evaluation according to the educational spirits and connotation of the Curriculum Guidelines. Moreover, I also contrast each edition of textbooks with its own principles of editing, analyzing the consistence from the whole to parts. Base on the conclusion of research, these three editions of textbooks have their own merits and shortcomings. In terms of the overall organizations, activities, the evaluation design, the teaching strategies, and supplementary information, however, all of the three editions are far from the Curriculum Guidelines and their principles of compilation. Among them, the textbooks of Kang-syuan and Nan-yi are rich in contents, precise in formation and vivid in description; while the textbook of Han-lin is famous for concision and delicacy. To learn the whole from one small part, most of the textbooks, nowadays, still need further investigation and self-criticism. We have to accumulate all the experience step by step, reinforce to popularize the principles and perspective of the new curriculum and meanwhile expect the sustained concern of the educational authorities and the joint efforts of everybody.
