本研究主要目的在瞭解單親家庭青少年家務參與及探討影響單親家庭青少年家務參與的因素。本研究將家務工作依性質區分為八個面向，來探討影響單親家庭青少年家務參與的因素。本研究以台北縣市國中及高中單親家庭青少年為研究對象，並以立意取樣法選取符合條件者，共520名，進行問卷調查，所使用之工具為自編之「青少年家務參與問卷量表」，包括:「基本資料表」、「青少年家務參與量表」、「父母要求青少年家務參與量表」、「青少年升學意願量表」及「家務協助者量表」。所得資料經百分比、平均數、t檢定、單因子變異數分析、積差相關及多元迴歸進行資料統計分析。研究結論如下：
一、單親家庭青少年雖有參與家務，但若能更積極參與可減輕父母工作與家庭的負擔。
二、性別在總量表上無顯著差異，但分面向仍呈現性別刻板。
三、單親家庭青少年家務參與程度比父母要求青少年家務參與更為積極、主動；父母要求單親家庭青少年家務參與不普遍。
四、性別、出生序、父母性別、工作特性、手足人數與單親家庭青少年家務參與總量表無顯著差異，只有在分面向上有差異。
五、單親家庭青少年年齡、父母社經地位與單親家庭青少年家務參與總量表無顯著相關。
六、單親家庭青少年升學意願、家務協助者、父母要求青少年家務參與與單親家庭青少年家務參與總量表呈顯著正相關。
七、升學意願高的單親家庭青少年其家務參與也較高。
八、年齡、家務協助者可以有效預測父母要求青少年家務參與。
九、升學意願、父母性別及父母要求青少年家務參與可以有效預測單親家庭青少年家務參與。

Abstract
This study targets mainly at how adolescents from single parent families involve in household labors and the factors that affect their domestic tasks participation. To probe into the factors, the study divides the household labors into eight categories by properties. The research objects involved are the adolescents studying in junior and senior high schools in Taipei and a total of 520 samples who filled out questionnaires were singled out for their conformation by Sample Selecting Approach. The self-designed Adolescents’ Household Labors Participation Questionnaire includes Personal Information Form, Adolescents’ Household Labors Participation Quantity Form, Parents’ Demand for Adolescents’ Household Labors Participation Quantity Form, Adolescents’ Aspiration for Advanced Education Quantity Form, and Household Labors Assistant Quantity Form. The data gained were analyzed statistically by percentage, average, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson Product-moment correlation and simultaneous multiple regression approaches. The main results of the study are as follows:
A. Though adolescents from single parent families take little part in household labors, it could be better to alleviate parents’ work and household burden if they joined in labors more actively.
B. There is no obvious difference between both sexes showing in the general quantity forms; however, separate categories still present sexual stereotype.
C. Adolescents from single parent families participate in household labors much more positively and actively than parents’ request. It is not common for parents to demand single parent adolescents’ participation in household labors.
D. There is no marked difference in sexes, birth order, parent’s sex, occupation features, sibling numbers, and single parent adolescents’ participation in household labors showing in the general quantity forms; it differs only in individual categories.
E. Relation between single parent adolescents’ age, parents’ social status and single parent adolescents’ participation in household labors showing in the general quantity forms is not evident.
F. It is apparently and positively related in single parent adolescents’ aspiration for higher education, household labors assistant, parents’ demand for adolescents’ household participation and single parent adolescents’ participation in household labors showing in the general quantity forms.
G. The single parent adolescents with much more aspiration for advanced education have higher level of household participation.
H. Age and household assistant can effectively predict parents’ demand for adolescents’ household participation.
I. Aspiration for higher education, parents’ sex and parents’ demand for adolescents’ household participation can effectively predict single parent adolescents’ household participation.
