應用Loft型式於商業空間之設計創作探討

摘要


據近年「Loft」在台灣室設業界越發活躍的現象,觀察到市場相關的書籍媒體常見各自表述其所認知的「Loft」元素與特色,抑或經常參考不斷被複製的市場論點卻無人質疑其有效性,這些未經學術應證的市場型論點最終呈現過於瑣碎的說法而顯得繁雜不一,然而在有限的「Loft」中文文獻中,亦無人系統性整合出明確的論點做為創作時的依據,有鑒於此,本研究將透過探討「Loft」空間型式的發展脈絡與設計元素,重新整合其空間元素與特色,以提供此類空間創作者的參考依據。 本研究經由文獻探討並對應各文獻所提的空間特性,得出最大「Loft」特性是:工業元素、流動空間、光線、歷史痕跡與個性展現,再探究其美學價值並將其與當代設計做連結,最終整合出一套系統化的「Loft」設計操作表為創作參考。另因應「Loft」的多元特性非常適合在商業型空間發展,故案例研究對象則鎖定商業性質空間,並藉此觀察其在市場之應用現象,研究結果則利用所整理出的「Loft」系統表作為審視研究案例的對應,創作作品也以商業空間為對象,以此系統作為參考依據,輔以創作並檢視創作過程之應用性。 藉由研究創作得知,創作作品的表現雖仍受限於實際條件而導向不同成果,然而創作者本身的美學基礎更是主導作品精神與內涵之重要因素。另在面對未來設計時,重新思考「Loft」其後續發展的價值性亦是本研究認為值得深入探究的的議題。

Since "Loft" units have recently been flourishing in Taiwan’s interior design industry, market-related books and other media have been observed to often express their comments on “Loft” characteristics and elements or frequently refer to increasingly replicated market arguments, but no one questions their availability. Many of those market-oriented arguments has not yet been verified academically as they are currently seen as being too trivial or varied. However, in the limited Chinese literature focusing on "Lofts", no one has systematically integrated them into a clear argument as a basis for their own creation. Therefore, the present study will re-integrate the spatial elements and characteristics of "Loft" by discussing both the development context of its space types and its design elements in order to provide a reference for those creating such “Loft” spaces. By performing a literature review of previous studies and the spatial characteristics referred to in the corresponding documents, this study comes to a conclusion about the biggest features of a "Loft." They include industrial elements, flowing spaces, abundant light, historical traces, and a presentation of individuality. Then we explore its aesthetic value, combine it with contemporary design, and ultimately integrate a set of systematic design operation diagrams on "Lofts" to serve as a design reference. Since its multivariate characteristics are suitable for commercial-type spatial development, we use commercial spaces as the object of this case study and examine their market application. The research results demonstrate use of the "Loft" System Diagram, divided into correspondence to review the case study. Furthermore, the commercial spaces are used as creation objects, applying the system as a reference for reviewing the practicality of such a creative process. The study creation reveals that a creator’s aesthetic foundation plays a significant part in leading the atmosphere and content of a work. However, as creative works are subject to real conditions, different outcomes may achieve. Therefore, rethinking the subsequent development value of "Lofts" in future design is another topic worthy of additional research.
