大學校院學生事務人員對專業知能培訓與認證看法之研究

摘要


本研究為「大學校院學生事務人員對專業知能培訓與認證看法之研究」,主要探討大學校院學生事務人員對專業知能培訓與認證的看法。邀請訪談者為參加由教育部委託中華學生事務學會與全國唯一培養學生事務專業的研究所,共同舉辦的「大專校院學生事務人員專業增能研習」之學生事務人員。論文採質性方式研究,研究母群體為參加104至107年四屆「大專校院學生事務人員專業增能研習」之287位學生事務人員抽樣8位,研究參與者選取8位具有意願接受訪談之在職大專校院學務人員,分別從屆數區分、再從北、中、南各地區、學校、公私立、大學技職、學生事務下的各單位進行區分抽樣邀請,透過半結構式的深度訪談方式蒐集資料,運用質性分析法,了解其看法。 本研究針對下列八個面向,訪談了八位學生事務人員的看法,進行分析討論。 一、學生事務為何是個專業與其重要性。 二、「學務專業增能研習」之意義與獲得。 三、學務工作相關培訓對學務工作之幫助與價值。 四、「學務專業增能研習」對學務工作之幫助與價值。 五、參不參加「學務專業增能研習」的理由與心態。 六、對「學務專業增能研習」的回饋與建議。 七、學生事務人員需要認證的理由。 八、對推動學務專業培訓與認證的看法建議。 最後,根據以上這些結論,對教育行政機關、對大專校院、推動學務專業認證單位提出建議。以期能幫助學生事務成功發展為受人肯定的專業。

In “A Research on the Viewpoints of University and College Student Affairs Staff Members towards Professional Knowledge and Skills Trainings and Certification”, the study mainly explores the viewpoints of university and college student affairs staff members towards professional knowledge and skills trainings and certification. The invited respondents were the student affairs staff members who participated in the “University and College Student Affairs Staff Members Professional Empowerment Workshop” co-organized by the Chinese Association for Student Affairs commissioned by the Ministry of Education and the nation’s only graduate institute offering training for student affairs related specialty. The qualitative method was adopted as the research method in the thesis paper. From a research population of 287 student affairs staff members who took part in four “University and College Student Affairs Staff Members Professional Empowerment Workshop” sessions between 2015 and 2018, a sample of eight staff members was drawn. Eight in-service university and college academic affairs staff members willing to undergo interviews were selected from the population by the researchers, using stratified sampling to divide the population into separate groups, first by sessions, then by regions, i.e. northern, central and southern, and lastly by student affairs units of schools, public and private universities as well as technical and vocational colleges. Data were collected through the semi-structured in-depth interview method, and the qualitative analysis method was employed to gain an insight into the viewpoints. Targeting the following eight dimensions, this research interviewed eight student affairs staff members to analyze and discuss their viewpoints. 1.Why is student affairs a specialty and what is its importance? 2.The significance and gains of the “Academic Affairs Professional Empowerment Workshop”. 3.The assistance and value of academic affairs work related training on academic affairs work. 4.The assistance and value of the “Academic Affairs Professional Empowerment Workshop” on academic affairs work. 5.The reasons and mentality of attending or not attending the “Academic Affairs Professional Empowerment Workshop”. 6.The feedbacks on and recommendations for the “Academic Affairs Professional Empowerment Workshop”. 7.The reasons for student affairs staff members requiring certification. 8.The viewpoints and recommendations for promoting academic affairs professional training and certification. Finally, based on the above conclusions, recommendations were proposed for educational and administrative agencies, as well as universities and colleges and academic affairs professional certification promotion units, hoping to contribute to the successful development of student affairs into a specialty recognized by all.
