敘事性理論運用於觀光影片之創作研究-以大稻埕為例

摘要


研究目的旨在以敘事理論應用運鏡和剪接手法,於畫面與鏡頭組合的各種關係,並找出觀光影片結構的特性,得以有效運用於觀光影片上。文獻上彙整「影片敘事性理論之表現手法」相關文獻資料,歸納出其優勢,以提供官方與自媒體運用,其作品最終參與「潮台灣競賽」獲獎,驗證動畫影片的獨特傳達力與應用可行性脈絡。文獻探討分為三節,文獻回顧、敘事性理論分析、影片剪輯相關研究,皆應用於創作方法與分析。研究方法為個案與訪談研究分析法,個案除了台灣之外,選擇國情及地理位置類似的東北亞日本及南韓觀光局近三年兩分鐘以內宣傳影片,另一方面受訪者基準為中華民國外交部潮台灣短片競賽得獎者。綜合以上本研究結論為:(一)運鏡與剪輯的核心在於技巧的靈活運用;(二)當代觀光的影片結構特性多數為簡潔性的表現為主;(三)當代影片敘事表現手法多數以人為本;(四)驗證以敘事理論應用在獨立視頻觀光影片上能賦予獨特傳達力。

The aim of this research is to apply narrative theory to camera movement and video editing, creating tourism videos that best communicate ideas to the audiences. To achieve this, different combinations of the uses of the lens and the scene were in-vestigated so as to understand the essential elements of an effective tourism video. Based on previous studies on film narrative theory, successful applications of this theory were taken as references for both official- and self-media. The final outcome of this research was the creation of a video using narrative theory, which won a prize in the "Trending Taiwan" competition. The achievement that this video made not only proved the applicability of narrative theory in video productions, but it also demon-strated the superb expressiveness of such videos. This study draws on previous re-searches that are focused on the subjects of narrative theory and film editing; the re-search methods of this study include case studies and interviews. To carry out case studies, promotional videos made by the tourism bureaus of two northeast Asian countries, Korea and Japan, were extensively investigated alongside discussions about Taiwan's tourism videos. The two neighboring countries were chosen as the subjects of the case studies because they are closer to Taiwan in terms of culture and geographical location, and the videos selected for this study were limited to those which were no more than two minutes long and were released during the past three years. In addition to case studies, winners of the "Trending Taiwan" competition, an event held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of China, were also interviewed. This study has yielded several important conclusions, including the following four. First, it has been realized that successful camera movement and film editing would depend on the flexible uses of relevant skills. Second, it was understood that simplicity is the major characteristic of tourism videos nowadays. Third, the film narrative should be cen-tered on human beings. Last, this study has proved that applying narrative theory in tourism videos can substantially lead to better expressiveness.
