日治時期《臺灣教育會雜誌》（1901-1911）研究

日本統治臺灣以後，建立起近代教育體系，用以培養適合殖民地統治的「新人種」。然而，日本統治者的教育意圖，要如何傳遞給實際從事教育、在第一線的教師呢？由臺灣教育會所發行的機關誌──《臺灣教育會雜誌》及《臺灣教育》，是考察此問題的重要切入點。由於《臺灣教育會雜誌》是臺灣教育會所發行的機關誌，當然也必須看到組織，另外還有當時的總督府以及臺灣教育，由總督府、臺灣教育會、臺灣教育三者各自在雜誌中所反映的內容，以及釐清雜誌中究竟是誰在發言，分析雜誌中所呈現的各個面向，掌握當時的政策或實際教學狀況，以從中了解當時社會、教育界所關注的焦點，也希望更進一步看到雜誌中的臺灣，是一個怎樣的臺灣？或者說雜誌本身呈現出了一個怎樣的臺灣？是本文希望達成的目標。由於本文希望可以對雜誌有全盤的認識，藉此分析臺灣教育會在日治初期的立場、想法及當時教育界的主要觀點，因此本文將根據雜誌中的文章內容分為若干類別，加以統計後，進行分析。在章節安排上，首先，第一章為緒論，說明研究動機、研究方法、章節架構及相關研究回顧。第二章從總督府的學事行政組織、發展以及臺灣教育會的流變，分析臺灣教育會與總督府之間的關係，藉以究明臺灣教育會的定位。第三章則是透過《臺灣教育會雜誌》中最重要的「論說」類，將文章、作者及其出身加以分類、統計，以探討雜誌中的言論取向。第四章將焦點放回教育現場，透過雜誌中「實驗調查」，了解當時教學的實況及相對於「論說」以外的想法。最後總結出該雜誌本身的定位與功能。

Since Japan ruled Taiwan, Japanese government tried to estabilsh modern education system. In order to know how did Japanese government transfer their intention to teachers, “Taiwan Journal of Educational Council” is an important entry point. This paper attempts to analyze the thoughts and the position of Taiwan Education Association and the main point of academic circles at that momet by holistic konwing “Taiwan Journal of Educational Council.” First, to kwon organization of education of Japanese government and the change of Taiwan Education Association, and to know the relationship between them. Second, to analyze discourse of “Taiwan Journal of Educational Council” to know thoughts of this magezine. Then to analyze experiment and survey of “Taiwan Journal of Educational Council” to know the scene of education at that moment. Final to sum up the position and function of “Taiwan Journal of Educational Council.”
