田中一光海報色彩風格之創作研究

摘要


臺灣當代的設計因殖民時期受到日本設計的影響很多,尤其在日本戰後出現的知名設計師,鈴木松夫(Matsuo Suzuki)、龜倉雄策(Yusaku Kamakura)、原弘(Hiromu Hara)與山城隆一(Takaichi Yamshiro)等是屬於第一代具有影響力的設計師,接下來有永井一正(Kazumasa Nagai)、福田繁雄(Shigeo Fukuda)、佐藤晃一 (Koichi Sato)等第二代設計師,田中一光(Ikko Tanaka)屬於第二代的代表人物。田中一光這位日本設計界的大師,在他生前經歷了五十年左右的創作歷程,一直以來都是設計界領導級的人物。 田中一光擅長以融合傳統與現代的設計風格,作品形式多樣而有變化,題材多元富有文化。從早期的作品看出現代設計的抽象表現,也展現出濃烈且質樸的色彩表現。本研究嘗試研究探討田中一光的海報在不同時期與主題的色彩運用,從日本美學、傳統文化、宗教等面向去探討;並論及田中一光個人生平、創作背景與設計理念,探討「琳派」、「能劇」、「歌舞伎」、「國際主義」、「早川良雄」與「吉源治良」兩位藝術與設計的前輩對田中一光之影響。 本研究將用文獻分析法分析其平面海報作品之色彩,收集相關海報並以PCCS(Practical Color Coordinate System)色彩體系統計圖統計其作品之色相、明度、彩度三種屬性,並分析相同時期與主題的色彩統一與變化。最後階段藉由分析結果,依照田中一光常見色彩轉化,並以悼念大師、致敬大師、四季之葉、祖後七日為議題進行海報設計創作,藉此向田中一光大師致敬。

Due to the Japanese colonial period, Contemporary design of Taiwan is greatly influenced by Japanese design, especially the famous designers who grew up after the war in Japan, such as Matsuo Suzuki, Yusaku Kamakura, Hiromu Hara and Takaichi Yamshiro. They are the first generation and most influential designers. Then, there are second generation designers grew up after them, such as Kazumasa Nagai, Shigeo Fukuda, and Koichi Sato…etc. and Ikko Tanaka is the representative of the second generation. Ikko Tanaka, a great master in the Japanese design field, experienced his creative process for about 50 years before his death, and has always been a leading figure in the design field. Ikko Tanaka is good at integrating traditional and modern design styles, his works are diverse and varied, and the themes are diverse and rich in culture. From the early works, we can see the abstract expression of modern design, and show the strong and simple color expression, too. This research attempts to study and explore the use of colors with Ikko Tanaka's posters in different periods and themes, from the perspectives of Japanese aesthetics, traditional culture, religion and so on. It also discusses Ikko Tanaka's personal life, creative background and design philosophy, and explores the influence of "Rimpa", "Noh", "Kabuki", “internationalism” and two leading graphic designers Hayakawa Yoshio and JirōYoshihara on Ikko Tanaka. The color of his graphic posters will be analyzed by Document Analysis, then collecting relevant posters and the three attributes of hue, lightness and chroma will be statistically analyzed with the PCCS(Practical Color Coordinate System)to analyze same period and theme for color unity and change. In the final stage, by analyzing the transformation of Ikko Tanaka's customary colors, the posters were designed and created on the topics of mourning the master, paying tribute to the master, the leaves of the four seasons, and funeral culture, to pay tribute to Ikko Tanaka.
