大學生參與學務方案對其課外學習核心能力之影響─以東吳大學為例

The Influences of University Students Participating in Student Affairs Programs on Their Extracurricular Core Abilities: Using Soochow University as an Example

摘要


本研究旨在探討東吳大學學生參與學務方案程度及課外學習核心能力提升之關係,採用問卷調查法,以「大學生課外學習核心能力問卷」作為研究工具,以了解大學生個人背景變相及學務方案參與程度與課外學習核心能力之差異狀況。研究對象為東吳大學大學部二至四年級(含以上)學生,共175人。統計方法包含:描述性統計、獨立樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析及皮爾森積差相關等方式所得知統計資料。本研究結果歸納如下: 一、 大學生部分個人背景變相與課外學習核心能力具備程度有顯著差異: (一) 女性在人際關係能力上顯著優於男性。 (二) 四年級以上學生的問題解決能力顯著優於二年級學生。 (三) 擔任幹部之學生,其團隊合作能力顯著優於僅擔任社員之學生。 (四) 具校外工讀經驗者之人際關係能力顯著優於校內工讀之學生。 二、 大學生部分個人背景變相與學務方案參與程度有顯著差異: (一) 高年級參與學務方案程度顯著優於低年級。 (二) 擔任幹部之學生參與學務方案程度顯著優於僅擔任社員學生。 (三) 社團參與時數高者,學務方案參與程度顯著優於社團參與時數低者。 三、 大學生學務方案參與程度各面向達顯著正相關。 四、 大學生課外學習核心能力具備程度各面向達顯著正相關。 五、 大學生參與學務方案程度與課外學習核心能力具備程度部分達顯著正相關。

This study aims to explore the relationship between the Soochow University students’ participation in student affairs programs and improvements in their extracurricular core abilities. The questionnaire survey method was adopted with the “university students’ extracurricular core abilities questionnaire” as the research tool, in order to identify the differences in extracurricular core abilities among students of different backgrounds and different levels of participation in student affairs programs. The research subjects were 175 students, including the sophomores, juniors, and seniors (and above) of Soochow University. The statistical methods applied were descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson product-moment correlation. And the research findings are summarized below: 1. University students different in some demographic characteristics were significantly different in their extracurricular core abilities. (1) Female students were significantly better than male ones in their social ability. (2) Seniors (and above) were significantly better than sophomores in their problem-solving ability. (3) Students who served as officers were significantly better than those who did not in their teamwork ability. (4) Students with part-time work experiences from outside the university were significantly better than those with part-time work experiences from inside the university in their social ability. 2. University students different in some demographic characteristics were significantly different in their degrees of engagement in student affairs programs. (1) Juniors and seniors’ levels of participation in student affairs programs were significantly higher than sophomores. (2) Students who served as officers had significantly higher levels of participation in student affairs programs than those who did not. (3) Students with more club participation hours had significantly higher levels of participation in student affairs programs than those with fewer club participation hours. 3. All the aspects of university students’ levels of participation in student affairs programs were significantly and positively related. 4. All the aspects of university students’ extracurricular core abilities were significantly and positively related. 5. The aspects of university students’ levels of participation in student affairs programs and those of their extracurricular core abilities were partly significantly and positively related.
