This research explores the level of understanding and attitudes of social enterprise of different genders, educational backgrounds, and ages. By using online questionnaires to survey the views of the public and the analysis of 328 valid questionnaires recovered obtained the following findings. First of all, college students’ social enterprise attitudes are lower than those with high school education or below, and secondly, the public’s knowledge of social enterprise and the attitudes toward enterprise are positively related. In other words, the more accurate the society’s understanding of social enterprise is, the more positive attitudes towards social enterprise are. Finally, the positive correlation between social enterprise knowledge and social enterprise attitudes of male was higher than female. This research discusses practical implications of research findings.
