The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between education and family economy, and consider the Urban-Rural differences. Empirical evidence uses the secondary statistics of Taiwan's household statistics and education statistics from 1998 to 2016 to test the causal relationship between education and family economy in counties and cities. The results show that education increasing the family economy under partial support. In addition, this paper also found that significant rural-urban difference exists in the relationship between education and family economics.
