摘要

本研究旨在探討教育與家庭經濟之關係，實證時採用台灣1998到2016年各縣市家庭統計與教育統計之次級資料，檢驗各縣市教育與家庭經濟間之因果關係，研究結果顯示教育與家庭經濟間呈正向關係獲得部分支持。另外，本研究亦發現高等教育與家庭經濟間的關係，在城與鄉之間存在差異。最後，針對資料分析結果進行討論，並提出建議供政府相關單位做未來改進的參考。

The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between education and family economy, and consider the Urban-Rural differences. Empirical evidence uses the secondary statistics of Taiwan's household statistics and education statistics from 1998 to 2016 to test the causal relationship between education and family economy in counties and cities. The results show that education increasing the family economy under partial support. In addition, this paper also found that significant rural-urban difference exists in the relationship between education and family economics.
