UP-MD+GF在一般車燈業者以前都稱為BMC即Bulk Molding Compound(團狀模壓材料)的縮寫名稱。BMC材料通常成分有樹脂(如不飽和聚酯樹脂,環氧樹脂,酚醛樹脂等),玻纖、填充料及各種添加劑。 UP-MD+GF在工業上的應用非常廣泛,如醫療器材、水溝蓋、電子產品、電器用品及汽車工業等等。在車燈工業,UP-MD+GF最常被拿來使用在大燈用反射鏡。 本研究旨在分析UP-MD+GF的成分特性,及其應用於於車燈反射鏡時,在射出成形的過程中因各種客觀的環境因素,藉由其模具的設計時,探討模具的成形肉厚分布、模具透氣結構的設計、模具加熱棒Watt的設定、模具Sensor溫度的分布、射出入料口的設計及射出機成型條件的設定,藉由CAE工具應用於RIM(Reactive Injection Molding)的製程來模擬不同的設計條件。以不同的模具設計條件,在試模成型後依配光所得到的數據,針對可進行設計變更的項目,評估對於產品包風及整體成型的影響性。在模流分析後,取得的各項數據,實際以配光結果來做最後驗證,藉以導入日後的模具設計標準。
