摘要


兼具學者、翻譯家身分的散文創作者林文月(1933—),由於其獨特的背景與經歷,在其散文中展現出了知識性、歷史感、藝術性等多元豐富的特質,是台灣當代散文研究者不可忽視的重要作家。本文擬從文本閱讀展開考察,並旁及相涉之文學理論,希望能以此研究瞭解林文月的散文成就,並分析其作品的思想特質及主題意識、表現手法,以窺見其散文世界的面貌,進而確認其在台灣現代散文史上的位置。 論文共分為五章來梳理林文月散文創作之意蘊:首章為緒論。分述研究動機與目的、文獻考察、研究範圍與取徑等,以此勾勒出論文的結構。第二章為「記憶:被書寫的空間與時間」,說明其散文創作的主題與範圍。第三章為「身分:敘述的展開與延伸」,主要論述的是林文月散文創作中獨特的主體意識與觀點。第四章「書寫:吸收與吐納的持續」,為對林文月散文特質與技巧的綜合觀察,探討林文月文學書寫的根源處及其應用、發展,兼論其書寫中在體式方面的實驗與進化。最後一章是結論,以前面章節所述為基礎做總結,並提出值得進一步探究的方向。

The essay writer, Lin Wen-Yueh (1933-), who is also a famous scholar and translator, because of her unique background and experience, her essays have diverse and abundant qualities such as erudition, historical sense, artistry, and so on. With the result that she is an important writer who the contemporary prose researcher of Taiwan cannot ignore. This thesis plans to start the investigating from the text reading, and use some related literature theory as reference to point out the achievement of Lin Wen-Yueh‘s essay writing. Then gain a more comprehensive understanding on the features of her works. Hoping that the unique meaning and value of her essays in Taiwan literary circles can be identified. There are five chapters in this thesis. In the first chapter, the motive of study, the goal of study, and the category of study are illustrated respectively here. So far as related commentary on Lin Wen-yueh’s prose is concerned, it is also reviewed here. The second chapter is “Memory: Space and the time on writing “, summarize the content of her essays at different stages. The third chapter “Identity: Discourse upon the narration on writing”, aims at the particularly viewpoint and subjectivity of Lin Wen-yueh’s prose writing. The forth chapter,” Writing: The continuing duration of absorbing and presenting”, generally observes the art expression of Lin Wen-yueh’s essays. She transforms and receives all kinds of literary essence and takes self challenge to have experiment and evolution of her writing. The last chapter is “Conclusion”. On grounds of the aforementioned chapters, we make a briefly summary here, and also bring out the suggestive guideline for researchers in the future.
