國民小學讀報教材中的國際教育內容分析-以國語日報為例 摘 要 本研究旨在以《國語日報》為例,探究國小讀報教材中國際教育的內容。以內容分析法,探討2011年5月1日~2012年4月30日這段期間所出刋的《國語日報》各版面呈現國際教育相關內容的情形;符合《中小學國際教育白皮書》四大目標的情形;及對應國際教育能力指標的情形。綜合本研究結果,提出下列結論: 壹、《國語日報》國際教育四大目標呈現的比例不均 一、四大目標相關文章中,「國際素養」比例最高、「國家認同」比例最低。 二、四大目標相關圖片中,「國際素養」比例最高、「全球競合力」比例最低。 貳、《國語日報》國際教育內容以能力指標「2-3欣賞不同文化」的比例最高 一、相關文章中,能力指標「2-3欣賞不同文化」的比例最高、「1-3體認國家在國際特殊處境」的比例最低。 二、相關圖片中,能力指標「2-3欣賞不同文化」的比例最高、「1-3體認國家在國際特殊處境」的比例最低。 叁、《國語日報》的國際教育內容以多元面貌散見於各版面 一、相關文章以「第3版生活」比例最高;「第11版兒童文藝」比例最少。 二、相關圖片以「第6版漫畫」比例最高;「第10版兒童園地」比例最少。 三、相關圖片的呈現多樣化。 四、內容呈現的區域分布不均。 根據上述結論,分別對教育工作者、教育行政單位、國語日報社及未來研究者提出建議。 關鍵字:國際教育、讀報教育、內容分析
Content Analysis of International Education Teaching Material in Elementary Schools-Mandarin Daily News Abstract This study is based on articles published in The Mandarin Daily News. The purpose of this study is to use content analysis methods to explore articles published between May 1st 2011 and April 30th 2012 regarding international Education in elementary school. This study is inline with the four goals as explained in the white paper on International Education Capacity Indicators. The results were as follows. A. The four goals of The Mandarin Daily News are not equal in content. a. The articles related to the International Accomplishment are the most. On the other side, articles related to the National Identity goal are the least. b. The pictures related to the International Accomplishment are the most. On the other side, pictures related to the Global Competitiveness goal are the least. B. The section related to the international Content has experienced the highest ratings. a. In the related articles in the column 2-3 has the most content. The content in the related column 1-3 has the lowest rating. b. In the related pictures in the column 2-3 has the most content. The pictures in the related column 1-3 have the lowest rating. C. The Mandarin Daily News has shown to have a wide variety of content in each edition. a. The column named 3rd edition – Daily Life experienced higher ratings b. The Comic Column has experienced the lowest ratings c. There are a greater variety of pictures available d. The content is not distributed equally. Based on the above conclusions, we offer the recommendations for educators, educational and administrative units, the Mandarin Daily News, and future researchers Keywords: International Education , Newspaper in Education, Content analysis
