本研究採用質性研究中的個案研究法進行研究,首先蒐集個案公司的歷史資料,再透過五力分析與SWOT分析法,以真實案例呈現個案公司發展歷程的四個階段,依序為第一階段:開創階段、第二階段:營收起飛、第三階段:拓展外銷市場、第四階段:轉投資上海。採用回顧個案歷史的方式,深入探討每一個階段,其所採取的經營策略及成功的關鍵因素。最後則依據市場環境、產業發展趨勢及個案公司的現況,提供其改善建議策略。 個案公司的發展歷程,宛如台灣許多中小企業的發展縮影,本研究希望透過個案公司的真實案例,將其過往成功的關鍵經營策略,及依公司現況所面臨的困境而提出的改善建議策略,作為其他中小企業於建構發展策略與擬定核心競爭能力之參考依據。
Based on a case study and the qualitative research approach, this purpose of this study is to examine the different development strategies used by firms and identify factors that will determine a firm’s success at different stages. The study collects the company’s historical data, at four development stages, using five-force and SWOT analysis to present the process of the company development. The four stages include (1) start-up stage, (2) revenue growth stage, (3) export expansion stage, and (4) foreign investment stage (Shanghai). We establish an in-depth retrospective case study, identifying the key strategies and key successful factors at different stages. Finally, we provide strategy suggestion for the case company to improve in the future based on the market environment, industry trends, and the case company’s current financial condition. The development process of the case company provides a very good example that describes how most Taiwan companies evolved in the past. The case company’s business strategies and key factors of success at its various development stages, are worthy of in-depth analysis which can not only understand the reasons of success in the past, but also provide insight into the difficulty most Taiwan firms face upon the recent rise of competition from emerging markets. The case firm’s successful business model and strategies to deal with crisis provide a very good role model for other enterprises in Taiwan to establish their own development strategies and the core competitive abilities.
