The author would like to make the public understand more about the life story of escorting generals participants and the actual situation of the traditional parade and escorting generals by means of this research. Then, to breakdown the public’s preconception about the established negative impression of escorting generals. And the traditional culture of escorting generals can be inherited on and on. This thesis is a qualitative research and it uses narrative way to analyze the relative data. Moreover, the Life Course Theory is the main structure of this thesis. There were seven teenagers who were participating the escorting generals in folk festival parade. Their educational levels included one elementary school, two junior high schools, two high schools, and two universities. Conclusions: 1.To actually contact, and get rid of prejudice; 2. Escorting generals can not be considered purely positive or negative; 3. Folk festival parade is not the only choice of life. Research recommendations: 1. Let escorting generals do self-restraint and promote them positively; 2. Government should get involve progressively; 3.The reports of media should be more neutrally.
