以園藝治療為輔助的支持團體應用於身心障礙子女長期主要照顧者之行動研究-以社會支持為例

摘要


有些孩童可能因為某些因素,成為身心障礙者;功能上的限制讓身障者長期居住在家中或機構裡,仰賴家人或他人的照顧。主要照顧者長期承受許多壓力,本研究探討如何讓主要照顧者得到社會支持是本研究的研究目的。 本研究以行動研究方式,運用6週每次3小時的園藝治療團體活動方案應用於身心障礙子女長期主要照顧者之支持性團體,以自尊支持、訊息支持、情緒支持及社會網絡支持為討論主題。探討本研究團體活動適合之方案內容、遭遇到的困難與因應策略、建立成員社會支持程度及研究者獲得之專業成長與反思。 研究歷程得到以下結論,成員表示團體活動的方案都很新奇,自己動手做很有成就感;孩子長大了有自己的方式與自己相處,適時的放下,自己的心境就會不一樣。有機會來參加團體活動,與其他家長交流是個很棒的經驗;主題連結自身的議題,讓成員不再受困原本想法。 後續提出下列建議,研究者可以邀請專業人士督導,對研究之團體活動帶領及園藝治療方案操作更有幫助。合作機構同仁擔任觀察員,有助於中心日後的發展。選擇適合的方案,親子一同操作,可增進親子互動。以開放式團體進行,成員不須限定都需參加6次,讓中心其他家長也有機會參加,成員較不會有時間上的壓力。

Some children may become disabled due to certain factors; Disabilities lived at home or in an institution for a long time with functional limitations, be taken care of family members or others. The main caregivers have been under a lots of pressure for a long time. The purpose of this research was explore how to receive the social support of main caregivers. This research used an action research method for 6 weeks, and a 3-hour horticultural therapy plans were applied to the support group of the long-term main caregivers with disabilities, the discussion topics with self-esteem support, information support, emotional support and social network support. Discussed the content of the program suitable for the activities of the research group, the difficulties encountered and the corresponding strategies, the establishment of the degree of social support of the members, and the professional growth and reflection obtained by the researcher. The research process came to the following conclusions, the members said that the group activities were very novel and had a sense of accomplishment by doing it by themselves; when children grew up, they had their lifestyle to get along with themselves, their’s mood will be different when they let the bad emotion go. It was a great experience to join this group and communicating with other parents; the themes connected to their own issues, so that members were not trapped anymore. The suggestions are the researcher can invite professionals to supervise, which will be more helpful to the leadership of the group and the operation of the horticultural therapy plans. Observer from cooperative institutions will help the center's development. Appropriate plans are operated together by parents and children, which can enhance parent-child interaction. Maybe it can be an open group, members are not required to attend 6 times, so that other parents of the center have the change to join the group, and the members will not have pressure of time.
