隨著網路技術的進展,以全球資訊網為基礎的學習方式逐漸成為目前數位學習的主流。然而數位學習雖擁有多元化學習方式、互動性與便利性,卻也衍生出容易在網際網路的超空間中迷失方向以及過多的鏈結結構所造成的認知負荷等問題。因此,以適性化的觀點來進行數位學習,提供適當的學習導引與輔助,避免造成方向偏離或效率不彰的情形已成為一個數位學習重要的研究議題。 本研究根據經驗學習模式以及適性化呈現技術,發展一個考量學習者能力的課程推薦系統。本研究發展的適性化學習網站主要是透過以學習者為中心的概念來協助學習者進行線上學習活動,並針對不同的使用者需求,每一次課程推薦均須考慮學習者基本能力,同時,每一次課程學習均要通過測驗以後再推薦合適的學習課程,以期有效支援學習活動之進行。為探討本研究發展的推薦系統之應用性與可行性,係以國內某科技大學資訊管理系碩士班學生作為實際分析對象,採取等組前後測的實驗設計,將受測者分為實驗組及對照組進行實驗。本研究實驗結果顯示:(1)對照組之學習成績比學習以前進步4.37分,但是未達顯著效果,(2)實驗組之學習成績比學習以前進步11.87分,具有顯著性差異,與(3)實驗組之後測成績較對照組之後測成績高出10分。因此,透過本研究發展之適性化課程推薦系統來進行學習,具有較佳的學習成效。本研究成果對於學術界與實務界在進行適性化數位學習方面研究將有相當程度的助益。
Recently with the development and maturity of network technology, internet-based learning has become the major trend of e-learning. Although e-learning has brought many advantages in the diversity of learning approaches, interactivity, and conveniences in learning process, it also rises to disorientation in internet hyperspace and problems of cognitive overhead are occurred due to too many linkages. To avoid the deficiencies of the strayed and inefficient learning, an adaptive e-learning with the supporting of appropriate guidance and assistances in learning process has become an important research topic. In view of the above issues, a course recommendation system for adaptive learning that focuses on the learners' abilities based on the experiential learning model and adaptive appearance techniques is developed. The course recommendation system that concerns different learners’ needs is developed through the constructivism to assist learners in online learning activities. The course recommendation system can propose an appropriate starting point of learning materials for learners after an e-learning process. An experiment is conducted to investigate the feasibility of the course recommendation system for adaptive e-learning. The subjects of the experiment are the graduate students of management information department in a domestic university of science and technology. The subjects of the experiment are divided into the experimental and control groups by using the pretest-posttest control group design method. In this research we use the statistical software SPSS to do the data analysis. Experimental results show that: (1) the posttest scores of the control group increases 4.37 point in comparison with the pretest scores of the control group, and the improvement of test scores does not attend a significance level of 0.05, (2) the posttest scores of the experimental group increases 11.87 point in comparison with the pretest scores of the experimental group, and the improvement of test scores attends a significance level of 0.05, (3) the experimental group has better learning performance than the control group. Results of this research show that adaptive e-learning through the course recommendation system has better learning performance and learning satisfaction than the traditional approach. Results of this research will contribute to the academic and practitioners on the aspect of adaptive e-learning.
