自然材質結合拼接手法的提櫃創作

The Creation of Portable Natural Material Cabinet with Splice Design

摘要

現今因人濫伐樹木導致森林快速的銳減，因此許多品種的木材隨著人類的浪費而變得稀少、珍貴，然而市場取而代之的是單一化的木種，因能快速成長成為具有經濟價值的材料，但因耐用較差需定期更換。在市場上實木的家具日漸減少，也減少了家具溫潤以及保存感覺，因此想藉由此創作重現多樣化實木家具的美感，也由此創造出能美化生活以及重溫保存物品的櫃子，櫃子的功能眾多但因現今生活空間狹小的問題所以突起本創作欲結合箱子功能的動機，將兩者融合成多功能的新式提櫃。
提櫃創作以綠色設計的就地取材為設計的出發點，在環境中尋找可使用的自然材料，再由蒐集的材料經由拼接手法的方式將作品呈現獨一無二的樣貌，本創作的主體架構以木材構成，幾何外形、簡潔設計是為了將作品的機能達到最大的發揮，同時透過文獻資料以及田野調查的方式，將提箱與櫃子的機能融合，創造出新式的提櫃創作。因提櫃打破櫃子既有的收納方式和擺放效果，將提櫃與使用者之間創造一種互動關係，使得提櫃的擺放多了個人風格的面貌。
本創作針對室內空間做出一系列作品，分為四項｢臥房｣、｢廚房｣、｢客廳｣、｢通用｣，創造出符合各空間的所需，以解決收納的問題。因現代都市的生活空間逐漸被壓縮，所以提櫃的設計是進一步解決現代家庭中小型物品的統整收納，因此設計的提櫃體積適用於小型家庭的使用。此外收納至提櫃的物品，因提櫃的結構設計而擁有展示以及氣氛營造的效果，作品同時兼具收納盒展示之用，並賦予提櫃多用途的價值，提供給使用者更多的感知體驗。

Since the rapid decline in forests, caused by the excessive deforestation, many types of timbers, as people waste them recklessly, have become rare and precious these days. However, the use of various timber types in the market is now replaced by the use of single type, which quickly develops into a material with high economic values, but needs replacing periodically due to its poor durability. In the market, solid wood furniture can be seen less and less, while its warm and preserving characters are also disappearing. As a result of this, this design aims to represent the beauty of solid wood furniture in diversification, and also revives storage Cabinets. Although there are already a number of functions of storage Cabinets available, as the limited living space in our everyday life, this has been the motif for this design to incorporate with the function of boxes to create a new portable multifunctional Cabinet.

The portable Cabinet is produced with local materials by green designs, which is to search for usable natural materials in our environment, and to create a unique presentation of this design made by splicing techniques and materials found. The body of this design consists of timbers. Geometrical, simple design is to push the function of this design to the limit, and, by the way of archival and field research, the combination of portable boxes and storage Cabinets thus establishes a whole new type of portable storage designs. Since the portable storage design have broken the obsolete storage and display fashion, it has created an interactive relationship between this design and its users, and offers more personal display styles of the portable Cabinet.

This design aims to offer a series of works with regard to interior spaces, which are “Bedroom”, “Kitchen”, “Living Room” and “Multipurpose Room”, in order to satisfy the needs of different spaces and solve storage problems. Since the living space in modern cities has been unproportionally diminished, the portable Cabinet design takes the next step to solve the storage problems of medium/small sized objects in modern families, therefore the size of this portable storage Cabinet suits small families perfectly. In addition to this, the objects stored in the portable Cabinet also helps create the display effects and atmosphere. This design can also be used as a display case, which gives this portable Cabinet a multifunctional value, providing its users more perpetual experiences.
