臺灣四時農俗文化繪像創作與研究

A Study and Creation of Taiwanese Agricultural Customs according to Twenty-Four Solar Terms

摘要


由於地緣、氣候、生態、地形等等因素,進而影響臺灣生態環境,形成了多元文化的主體性,臺灣海島國家濕熱的氣候以及豐富多變的地貌,皆有利於生物繁衍,故擁有多樣變化生態類型,許多屬於大自然生態細緻的美麗隱藏至其中。但隨著時代變遷、現代文化浪潮的衝擊下,不同的歷史、語言、種族相互交流融合,使得原屬於臺灣本土農村文化特色、刻苦耐勞水牛意象,逐漸被社會忽略,似乎忘卻臺灣是座美麗的福爾摩沙島嶼。筆者從小於純厚樸實的農村成長,長時間受到生活環境的薰陶,在如此的潛移默化下,深深感受到濃厚獨特的人文歷史情感,這樣的傳統文化不該被隱藏在現代文明背後、消逝於時光洪流中。臺灣農民們以四時、十二月份、二十四節氣為耕作之依循準則,而本創作形體則以水牛作為結構根基,藉由節氣與水牛對臺灣文化與生活經驗的重要性,表達傳統文化象徵之深切意涵。本創作共分成「春、夏、秋、冬」四個主體系列,傳達自然跟人文的密切結合,將其季節特徵表現於畫面之氛圍;以內容分析彙整相關文獻,賦予點、線、面基本造形元素,轉化成具有裝飾性繪畫、層次分明的畫面律動以及鮮豔色彩的圖畫影像,結合電腦繪圖軟體「Illustrator」向量圖形製作之技術應用,詮釋出獨特質感的視覺語言,希冀透過情感的傳遞於圖像中,進而重現臺灣農業文化與傳統習俗面貌,留下屬於臺灣特有文化符碼的視覺作品,藉由農作文化再生,喚起大眾對於傳統文化的省思與重視,並提供未來其他創作者之參考。

並列摘要


Many factors such as geography, climate and ecology not only affect Taiwan’s ecological environment but also form the main part of multiculture. Taiwan’s insular climate which has the wet and hot weather as well as plentiful landforms helps creatures' growth and propagation, so it possesses variable types of ecology. Therefore, Taiwan actually has delicate beauty of ecological environment which is hidden behind nature. However, as time goes by the tide of modern culture strikes that integrates different histories, languages and races. Characters of rural village’s culture and the image of buffalo’s diligence and endurance are ignored by people little by little. We seem to gradually forget that Taiwan is originally a beautiful island called "Formosa". The researcher who had grown up in a kind and simple rural village had been influenced for a long time in the village’s living environment. Because living under the imperceptible change and effect in the rural village which is filled with sincerity, the researcher also deeply feels the unique, historical and cultural affection. Therefore, the researcher thinks that our traditional culture shouldn’t be hidden behind the modern culture and vanishes gradually within the time flow. Farmers have their own principles of agriculture according to four seasons, twelve months and twenty-four solar terms in Taiwan. The researcher’s creation is based on the structure of buffaloes and uses the importance of twenty-four solar terms and buffaloes which affect cultures and living experiences in Taiwan to express the meaning which is about the symbol of traditional culture. The creation contains "spring, summer, autumn and winter "four main parts in order to show the close combination of nature and culture, and express characters of four seasons in pictures. The researcher not only gathers and analyzes concerned informations but also uses basic factors like point, line and plane that were transformed into images which have characters of decorative paintings, the clear rhythm of pictures and bright colors. Moreover, the creation also combines the graphic software "Illustrator "which applies the skill of making vectors images to interpret the unique visual language. The researcher attempts to reconstruct the traditional culture of agriculture and custom in Taiwan through expressing affection in pictures, and then leaves visual works of Taiwan’s special symbols. By means of reconstructing the culture of agriculture, the creation can not only arouse consideration and respect of people but also become the reference to other researchers in the future.
