本研究旨在探討高雄市國中教師生活品質與工作壓力現況、來源、相互關聯性以及其因應工作壓力的策略。本研究以高雄市某市立國民中學8名教育人員為研究對象,採用質性研究之深度訪談取向的研究方法;再經由文獻探討、深度訪談,綜合整理與分析資料後,做出研究結論。 本研究先以教學工作對於國中教師在生理、心理及家庭之生活品質影響;再依工作環境因素、個人問題因素、組織內部因素等三大面向來探討國中教師工作壓力的來源,研究指出工作環境中設施設備老舊、學生素質逐年降低、家長配合度低、升學制度惹爭議等是造成國中教師對工作環境知覺壓力大的主要因素,其次則是個人問題,此研究中受訪者的年紀輕、年資淺、健康狀況不佳都是工作壓力的來源,而組織內部領導者之領導風格、法規章節制度、福利待遇與制度也會造成工作壓力。對國中教師來說工作壓力來源最小的是在人際關係互動方面;若是遇到工作壓力,則較傾向於採取「面對問題」、「尋求支持」、「理性思考」、「堅持到底」、「情緒調整」等的應對策略。 最後,根據本研究之結論提出具體建議以供教育主管機關、國中教師從事教育工作或做後續相關研究之參考。
The purpose of this study aimed to investigate the relationship between the quality of life and the job stress at work for the junior high school teachers in Kaohsiung by exploring thestrategies the teachers took to balance the life and stress at work. The subjects of the study were eight junior high school teachers. Through the in-depth interviewing method, the study collected and analyzed the in-depth interviewing data and references to make conclusions as follows: First, the study researched the effect of the working stres on the physical, psychological, and family life of the junior high school teachers. Second, the study was conducted to find out the sources of working stress by analyzing the environment, personal, and organizational factors. It showed that the major sources of working stress of junior high school teachers come from the occupational environment such as the inappropriate equipment, the degrees of the students and parents, and the educational system. Additionally, both the personal issues such as age, seniority, and health and the organizational issues such as principal leadership, regulations, and welfare are the minor working stress sources. Finally, junior high school teachers dealt with their working stress by these strategies such as “Face it,” “Find outside support,” ”Rational thinking,” “Never give up,” and “Emotional self-adjustment.” Based on the study findings, the suggestions are provided for the educational authorities and researchers to conduct further relevant studies in the future.
