The words "Join the Navy and travel around the world" is the most commonly used slogan in Naval recruitment in the past 20 years. The reason is to attract talents to join the Navy. One of the prerequisites of the so-called “travel around the world” is only when they serve on the warship, then they may have chances to be recruited to conduct diplomatic and training missions to diplomatic or other friendly countries every year. On the other hand, the common perception of Navy personnels is equal to serving on the ship. However, in actual personnels dispatching experience, there is a gap from person to person in the actual intention of dispatching to warship for services. This research is to use the theory of Planned Behavior to explore the effect of the Navy's implementation of the recruitment policy and the improvement of welfares of shipcrews on the actual intention of dispatching ships. The method of this research is based on a questionnaire survey. The five elements of the data in the questionnaire (attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavior control and behavioral intention, and population statistic variables) are divided into two parts: theory of Planned Behavior and Population Statistic Variables. A total of 180 questionnaires were issued, and 180 valid questionnaires, with a 100% retrieve rate. The outcome of this research listed as below: 1. The intention of the supply personnels to assign ships is "attitude" as the highest. 2. Age, status of marriage and years of service do not affect the behavioral intentions of the assigned ship. On the other hand, the gender, education, and rank impact the intentions of assigning ship more significant. 3. Lieutenant is more willing to perform the ship assignments than other ranks.
