社會工作者的人力吃緊，能做到資深社會工作者的更是少數，因此，了解社會工作者的生涯策略，可以知道在專業及學術的養成過程中所產生的專業社會工作者，對於進入或退轉社工界的生涯策略是如何？本研究主要探討社會工作者在學時修課策略、社會工作者畢業時對於未來就業準備與選擇的策略，以及了解社會工作者在後續的生涯選擇中，展現出何種策略之狀況。藉此探討社會工作者未來的規劃策略，並提供給社會工作教育、就學於社會工作相關科系的學生及未來想投入社會工作的人做為生涯規劃的參考。
本研究以六位社會工作者為主要研究對象，採取質性研究。研究結果發現：
一、社會工作者的在校修課策略：
會用到興趣導向策略、家庭關聯策略、人際關聯策略、求生存策略及方便性策略，其中以興趣導向策略和求生存策略為最主要的影響策略。
二、社會工作者畢業時的就業準備策略：
受訪者有用到興趣導向策略、家庭關聯策略、求生存策略、理想性策略及遵循宗教啟示策略。學生時代的選課策略確實會影響著社會工作者未來在選擇職業的狀況，修課策略愈是興趣導和專業導向的受訪者，愈能在就業選擇時形成明確的目標。
三、社會工作者在社工專業中的生涯策略：
受訪者使用求生存策略、能力發揮策略、理想策略，而能力發揮策略與理想策略更能支持社會工作者繼續留在社工專業中。
四、轉換跑道社會工作者的生涯策略：
社會工作者想要轉換跑道時，較常受到求生存策略和家庭關聯策略的重要影響。

Abstract
There were so many researches study on the reasons why social workers quit their job, as well as why they stay. This research will discuss the career strategies of social workers, not only focus on the strategies about job choosing, but also focus on how they choose the courses; and how they choose to stay or quit their professional career.
I hope this research can make more students have motivation to join the social workers. This research can also become an example for the student who is major in social work or working in social work.
Six social workers were interviewed in this research. The contain were recorded, transformed, and analysised by using Paradigm of Qualitative Research. The finding were stated as follow :

I. About Course Selection Strategies of Social Worker Student
The course selection strategies of most interviewee’s are due to their interest, family relations, interpersonal relations, survival and convenience. The most influential strategies are interest and survival.
II. About Career Preparation Strategies of Social Worker
Interviewee used interest strategies, family relations strategies, survival strategies, ideal strategies and follow religion strategies to choose their career. It proves that when social worker selecting their careers will influenced by the course selection strategies in schooldays. Further, the interviewee who had course selection strategies works hard to achieve targets for their career selection.
III. About Social Worker Professional Career Strategies of Social Worker
Most interviewee used survival strategies, perform ability strategies, and ideal strategies. So perform ability strategies and ideal strategies support social worker keeping work in social work
IV. About changing career strategies of Social Worker
When social worker wants changing career, often influenced by survival strategies and family relations Strategies.
