越南外商直接投資影響因素之研究

近年來越南經濟實力快速崛起，關於越南的研究已成為方興未艾的主題，其中尤以越南外商直接投資 ( foreign direct investment, FDI ) 之研究，為最受重視的課題。越南自1986年改革開放以來，外商直接投資金額逐年增加。大量湧入越南的FDI，對越南的經濟狀況產生相當大的影響。外商直接投資首先為越南帶來市場價格機制，並透過市場競爭的方式，迫使越南國有企業進行改革，改善生產經營效率。因此本研究主要探討越南各省的經濟，社會變數對FDI之影響。採用2000 – 2009年外商直接投資越南各省之資料，研究發現，各省人口密度，貨運密度與GDP對FDI有正向影響，而工資率對FDI有負向影響。

Abstract

Since the Vietnam’s economic reforms in 1986, foreign direct investment (FDI) flows are an important factor helping economic growth and development in Vietnam. This paper explores factors that determine foreign direct investment in provinces of Vietnam in period 2000 to 2009. The study found that population density, transportation and GDP of the provinces have a significant positive impact on FDI, but wage rates have a significant negative impact on FDI.
