田口式品質工程以較少的實驗次數,可得到最佳的參數組合,在工業界廣受肯定與採用。昆蟲性費洛蒙具無毒、專一性,微量即有效等優點,在蟲害防治及無毒農業的推廣上不可或缺。本研究採用田口方法L9及L4直交表實驗,以朝陽科技大學實驗室合成之甘藷蟻象性費洛蒙找出最佳的配置條件,獲得實驗數據進行分析。研究結果顯示誘餌條塑膠微管以6公分最佳;誘餌條吊掛於誘蟲器瓶口以4公分最佳;誘蟲盒可以1.5 L 寶特瓶自行製作代替購買的誘蟲盒,節省防治成本;誘蟲盒離地高度以60公分較佳,費洛蒙純度則以98%、2 mg 的劑量防治效果最佳。本研究更發現以費洛蒙防治蟲害須全面性,種苗區是蟻象孳生的區域,要一起防治,才能達到良好的防治效果。
Taguchi method uses reduced variance for the experiment with "optimum settingsof" control parameters to facilitate data analysis and prediction of optimum results. This method is widely adapted in engineering and industry. Insect sex pheromone, with its innocuous and specific characters, is important in pest management in agriculture. In this research, we carried out the Taguchi experiments L4 and L9 orthogonal array in Yunlin County to obtain the optimized parameters in attraction of sweet potato weevil, Cylas formicarius elegantulus, using synthesized sex pheromone. The results show that the optimized parameters of trap setting are: 6 cm for plastic micro-tube lure length, 4 cm for the location of lure away from the top of the trap, 60 cm for the trap above the ground, and 2 mg pheromone with 98% purity in each lure. The self-assembled trap using recycled PET bottle displayed equivalent efficiency in attracting sweet potato weevils comparing to the commercial trap. We also found that simultaneous attracting activity in the neighbor sweet potato field would enhance the management efficiency.
