外籍勞工對本國保險需求之探討-以桃園縣為例

摘要

本研究以桃園地區外籍勞工為研究對象，採隨機方式發放300份問卷請外勞填寫，研究方法採用描述性統計分析、交叉分析、卡方獨立性檢定等。主要研究發現有二:其一為雇主未確實為所聘請外籍勞工投保勞工保險與健康保險；其二為桃園地區外籍勞工對於保障內容重要性有明顯差異，其中菲律賓、泰國、印尼、越南的勞工皆對於一般意外身故/殘廢保險為重要因素與雇主看法一致。此兩項研究結果可供保險業者與雇主及政府參考。

This thesis researches on the foreign workers in Taoyuan, randomly sending out 300 questionnaires filled out by the foreign workers. The research approach is based on descriptive statistic analysis, cross tabulation analysis, and Chi-Square test of independence. The thesis offers two major discoveries. First, the employers do not provide appropriate worker insurance and health insurance for their foreign workers. Second, the foreign workers in Taoyuan have different opinions on the importance of the insured content, among whom the Philippine, Thai, Indonesian, and Vietnamese workers have identical opinions with their employers that accidental death and dismemberment insurance are the most important factors they care about. These two research results can serve as references for insurance industry, employers, and the government.
