教育環境快速變遷,教師面臨龐大壓力與挑戰,影響身心健康。芳香療法是近年新興熱門的紓壓方法之一。本研究是針對國小教師,在不同的工作負荷量之後,使用佛手柑精油進行15分鐘噴霧式芳療,利用心率變異(Heart Rate Variability, HRV)分析,紀錄芳香療法前後自律神經的改變差異。參與實驗者是29位國小教師,以當日上課四堂(含)以上者,為工作負荷重;當日僅上二堂(含)以下者,為工作負荷輕。結果發現佛手柑精油,以噴霧吸入15分鐘後,HF%提升,LF、LF/HF及LF% 降低,皆達統計顯著差異(p<0.05)。以上結果顯示出使用佛手柑精油吸入性芳香療法,在短時間內具有提升副交感神經活性,達到顯著紓壓放鬆的效果。
Because the educational environment is rapidly changing, the teachers are facing hard stress and challenges, which affecting the physical and mental health. Recent years, aroma therapy becomes one of the emerging popular relieve stress method. In this study, the elementary school teachers at the different work load condition used bergamot precision oil to do spray aromatic therapy for 15 minutes. The heart rate variability (HRV) was used to analyze their change of autonomic nervous system before and after the aroma therapy. 29 teachers of elementary school participated this study. The hard work load is defined as teaching four classes or more in one day. The light work load is defined as teaching two classes or less in one day. The results show the parameters of HRV have the significant differences (p < 0.05) before and after aroma therapy, HF% arising and LF, and LF/HF and LF% reducing. The above findings showed that aromatic bergamot essential oil therapy for a short period of time can enhance parasympathetic nervous activity to relax mental stress.
