職涯服務策略:台灣休閒管理產業與大學相關科系看法之研究

摘要


目前在台灣,許多休閒管理相關科系不斷努力地改善課程內容並且加入對學生的就業服務,其目的是為了幫助學生在畢業後能在該產業得到工作的保障。本研究之其一目的為探悉哪些提供給學生的就業服務是休閒管理業界與學界共同認為重要的。而本研究的另一目的為求證已在各休閒管理學校被實施的學生就業服務項目是否符合目前業界的期望。由本研究所得之結果可以替休閒管理學校辨別並指出哪些為較重要的學生就業服務,而由採用的量化研究所得到的結果可以做為提供學生就業服務的成功指標。本研究結果歸納出六個台灣休閒管理產業與學界共同認為對學生重要的就業服務項目;業界與學界看法大致相同,且已在休閒管理學校實施中的就業服務項目皆符合業界期望。

Many hospitality institutes have been taking efforts in adjusting teaching curriculum and adding career services to assist students in securing jobs in the hospitality industry in Taiwan. The purpose of this study is to find out what career services are deemed important by both the industry and institutes. The other aim of this paper is to point out which career services implemented by hospitality institutes are in consistent with the current industry expectations. The implications drawn from this paper could provide indications for hospitality institutes to the more important aspects in career services. Quantitative research methods were adopted by this study and produced useful results that describe keys to successful career service. The findings presented 6 common career services deemed important by the industry and educators from universities of technologies in Taiwan. The perceptions between the two parties matched and states of implementations of career services are in conformity with most expectations.
