摘要

文化資產的概念與保存在政府的推動之下，各鄉鎮積極找尋具有文化內涵的地方產業，形塑在地特色；堪稱台灣民宅之首的《摘星山莊》因涵括多項具研究價值的建築面向，成為傳統建築的保存項目中具有指標性的民宅典範之一，其建築與裝飾圖紋皆賦有文化意涵，展現了東方傳統藝術的文化氣息。
本研究從設計者的角度觀讀摘星山莊，探索其裝飾之題材與意涵所反映出屋主創建的理念與動機；運用聯想法將傳統裝飾元素與現代的生活用品連結起來，透過設計創意的手法，將裝飾的內在意涵注入新產品，賦予文化象徵之設計語言。在設計概念上關注於文化元素的萃取與產品屬性的關聯性，將古今套疊的特色轉換為生活用品，讓使用者從產品造型或功能使用的互動中，體會建築內在精神與意涵；藉由《摘星山莊》的修復重生，重新尋找大眾面對建築裝飾意涵與新舊文化的價值感，並發展具有文化意涵的產品，建立《摘星山莊》的新文化意象與設計應用的開端。

Under the guidance of government, members of official regional institution explore and preserve local industries that have unique cultural features actively. The leading historic and famous monument - Zhaixing Villa is a typical building model which present a lot of traditional culture image from her architecture, interior design and decoration patterns. All details support the villa to be a benchmark of oriental culture.

This research is subjected to designer's view to explore the ideas and motivation from the decorative arts which may reflect the building owner's creativity in villa. Through studying the interior and exterior decorations, we try to capture antique elements into modern design concept. After mixing the ideas and searching the suitable daily essentials, we can develop something useful and new with Zhaixing villa spirit. It not only creates new products, but transmits traditional culture into daily life. Meantime, through using these new objects, we can deliver new image of reborn Zhaixing Villa. People can know and think more about the culture value difference between past and nowadays. It will be a new milestone of refreshing concept at cultural blending combined with design application for Zhaixing Villa.
