The purpose of this research is to develop a adequate marble hot air engine car for technology education. Student can learn correlative engineering knowledge by making this engine can and their machining skills will be well trained in the making process. Because marble hot air engine is one kind of engine that can be made easily. It is suitable to be used as a training course in the first step for the technology education in colleges. The marble hot air engine is different from other type hot air engine. The displacer cylinder is made of glass test tube and the glass marbles are made as the displacer. The students can observe what happening inside the engine what the engine is operating. In this research we try to investigate the relations between the marble hot air engine characteristics and the design parameters, and base on the results. We designed and made a marble hot air engine car with a good performance.
