內省:宋三和創作論述

摘要


本篇論文共分為五個章節。第一章緒論,談論創作起源與創作過程思考方式。第二章理論基礎,討論潛意識、象徵主義、歐姬芙的影響、女性主義的暗示、空間配置探討、藝術治療與論文作品的相關性。第三章表現形式探討,分析此系列作品之造形、材質、色彩、技法。第四章代表作品解析,將作品依照創作思想源起、造形、色彩搭配、意涵做說明。第五章結論。 作品分為五個系列,「女性」、「母親」、「探索」、「形變質化」、「蛻變」。主題是自我內心對話與省思,創作過程讓藝術家更了解自己,藝術創作就是自我對話的方式,將意涵以視覺方式呈現。作品試著運用象徵主義的手法,來傳達無法用言語的隱喻,在呈現的過程中將潛意識滲透外顯。利用生物性的符號來作為造形的表現,看似抽象的形體是來自於生活環境,觀察植物與大自然的有機造形所得。以線條表現出優雅與力量的線性的動態美感,空間上,重視虛與實的安排與運用,形成作品可以多視角欣賞。 材質上主要使用紙漿,運用其獨特的質感與高可塑性,結合複合媒材如:油彩、現成物與玻璃等等。特殊製作手法去改變了紙漿的原有的粗糙質感,營造出細膩的觸感。表面運用「行動繪畫」的上色技法,及利用各種非傳統的畫具,創造出一種抽象畫的感覺。此系列作品意圖創造出具有繪畫性視覺效果的雕塑作品。

This thesis contents five chapters. In the first chapter, the introduction, discusses the creation conception and the development of creative thinking. The second chapter is about the fundamental theories concerning the thesis, which includes sub-consciousness, symbolism and the influence of O'Keeffe, implication of feminism, discussion on special placement and art therapy. The third chapter is manifestation of creation that analysis the form, material, colors and techniques of the series of work. The fourth chapter is the introduction of the important works; it explains the creation concept, form, color arrangements and implications of the works. The fifth chapter is the conclusion. The series of works include five themes, which are Feminine, Motherhood, Exploration, Deformation and Evolution. Its main concept is based the inner dialogue and self-reflection. The creation process is like a journey of self-discovery for an artist. Art making is a way to reflect one’s inner state, and to express the meanings by the visual presentations. The works try to employ symbolism manner, to communicate the unspoken metaphor, and to reveal sub-consciousness during the working process. Using biological semiotics as an expression for the forms, these abstract sculptures actually are inspired by the daily objects around our environment, and observation of the organic shapes in the nature and vegetation. The contour is trying to present a graceful and powerful linier movement. The special placement of the works emphasize on the arrangement of negative and positive spaces, which allow the viewer to appreciate the sculptures from multiple angles. The series of works mainly use paper-mache, because of its special texture and highly flexible quality. Besides, paper-mache also combines with other multi-medium, such as, oil paint, founded objects and glasses. The special creation method transforms the roughness texture of paper-mache into a smooth surface. The exterior applies the coloring method of “action painting,” and use non-traditional painting tools, to create a sensation of abstract painting. The series of works aim to create a sculpture with the painting through visual effects.
