Changes in the demographic structure, economic prosperity, various threats and incentives in mainland China that have reduced the willingness of young people to enlist and impacted the promotion of our country's recruitment system. Therefore, the most urgent task for the national army is how to increase the willingness of young people to enlist. According to the results of this study, it is found that the recruitment force can be increased to 30-32 years old, no children, and university degree holders. In addition, it can strengthen the publicity of the national army's disaster relief operations to the public to enhance the image of national army; promote the spirit of honor of service, can show personal talents in the military career, and obtain stable income. There are three conclusions from this study: 1. The perception of the image of the national army will affect work values. 2. The perception of the image of the national army will affect the willingness to join the army. 3. There are significant differences in the age, educational background, and presence or absence of children of the interviewees in terms of the image perception and work values of the national army.
