教育部獎勵補助經費與私立大學社會責任關聯性之探討

A Study on the Relevance between MOE’s Funding Program and University Social Responsibility for Private Universities and Colleges

摘要


本研究以2018學年至2020學年間之私立大學為研究對象,探討教育部獎勵補助經費與私立大學USR指標:註冊率、生師比、學雜費減免人數、平均專任教師每週授課時數、平均每位專任教師承接各類計畫總經費、平均每位專任教師承接政府或企業資助學術研究計畫經費、學校通過大學USR計畫等之關聯。實證結果顯示:2018學年至2020學年間,教育部獎勵補助私立大學發展經費與私立大學USR指標顯著相關者有:生師比、學雜費減免人數、平均每位專任教師承接各類計畫總經費、平均每位專任教師承接政府或企業資助學術研究計畫經費,顯著水準均達1%-5%。高等教育深耕計畫經費與私立大學USR指標顯著相關者有:學雜費減免人數、平均每位專任教師承接各類計畫總經費、平均每位專任教師承接政府或企業資助學術研究計畫經費,且顯著水準均達1%。

This study aims to explore the relevance between the Ministry of Education's funding programs and university social responsibility (USR) of Taiwan’s private universities and colleges during 2018 to 2020 academic years. USR indicators include: the registration rate, student-teacher ratio, the number of tuition and fees waiver students, the average teaching hours of full-time teachers per week, the average total funding for research projects per full-time teacher, the average total funding for academic research projects funded by government or business and other departments per full-time teacher, and whether the school had got the MOE’s USR programs. Findings revealed that, for relevance between the MOE’s educational subsidies for private colleges and universities and USR indicators during 2018 to 2020 academic years, student-teacher ratio, the number of tuition and fees waiver students, the average total funding for research projects per full-time teacher, the average total funding for academic research projects funded by government or business and other departments per full-time teacher showed at 1% to 5% significant level. For relevance between the fundings of Higher Education Sprout Project and USR indicators during 2018 to 2020 academic years, the number of tuition and fees waiver students, the average total funding for research projects per full-time teacher, the average total funding for academic research projects funded by government or business and other departments per full-time teacher showed at 1% significant level
