應用六標準差於能力成熟度整合模型之流程改善研究

摘要


近年來,由於資訊科技的進步,帶動台灣資訊軟體產業的蓬勃發展。為了有效改善軟體與資訊系統發展流程,進而導入能力成熟度整合模型(Capability Maturity Model Integration, CMMI),提供軟體產業持續地改善軟體品質,及改善資訊系統發展流程與管理能力。 由於CMMI未有在流程領域的指標中,提出一個流程改善方法之基礎與相關指引。因此,本研究將針對此點,應用六個標準差(Six Sigma)之品質管理手法做為流程改善之工具,並以CMMI流程改善之特定目標的特色實務進行建立流程圖。藉著品質工具的應用,做為CMMI流程導入與改善之基礎架構,進而提昇企業在軟體開發之競爭能力,以增進軟體的生產力與提昇產品品質。在CMMI導入的階段中,建立軟體流程改善小組(Software Engineering Process Group, SEPG),針對組織之流程改善進行推行,並以六標準差之層級架構,做為組織人員推行CMMI與改善生產流程之結構。在推行CMMI流程導入時,並輔以六標準差之品質工具與統計方法進行品質改善之工具,藉此提昇產品的品質。 本研究以CMMI的IDEAL流程導入模式與六標準差的DMAIC品質改善模式進行組織性的比較,藉此了解其兩者的差異,並使用IDEAL導入時遭遇的困境,使用六標準差之解決方案進行困境解決。最後,本研究利用DMIAC之模式進行流程改善的實作模擬,透過模擬的方式持續改善產品品質。本研究最終之結果,將建立之CMMI流程規劃與應用六標準差之導入方法,可作為國內已導入六標準差企業組織,在導入CMMI時,除了IDEAL導入模式之外的另一種軟體流程改善或輔助流程導入的模式,進而提昇軟體產業之競爭力。

In recent years, the advance of information technology leads to the development of the software industry in Taiwan. To improve the processes of the software and information systems developments, Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is adopted for better software quality, information system development processes and management ability. There are no indicators in the process areas of CMMI for assessment, and therefore this research applies a quality management method, Six Sigma, as a tool for process improvement and constructs the flow charts according to the specific practices in the process areas of CMMI. By the means of the application of quality tools, it can build up the infrastructure of CMMI process adoption, and furthermore enhance the competitiveness of software development, software productivity, and software quality for the enterprise. In the adoption phase of CMMI, Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG) is formed to promote the process improvement, and the hierarchical structure of Six Sigma is used as a tool for production process improvement. During the promotion phase of CMMI, the quality tools and statistical methods of Six Sigma are applied to improve the quality of products. In this research, the IDEAL process model and the DMAIC process model of CMMI are compared to obtain the differences between those two types of models, and therefore Six Sigma can be used to resolve the difficulties which are encountered in IDEAL model. In the end, a simulation on DMAIC process improvement practices has been done to continuously improve the product quality. The final results of this research, the established CMMI process models applying Six Sigma, can be used as very useful referential models in applying CMMI for the organizations already adopted Six Sigma. Moreover, Six Sigma can be a very helpful method to enhance the competitiveness of software industry adopting CMMI besides IDEAL model.
