摘要

此短篇論文以「二○○八年選後的地方政治發展一以『小縣大鎮』效應為中心」為題，嘗試藉由新聞學派的寫作訓練，選定二○○八年一月十二日立委選後、第七屆立委宣誓就職之後，以迄於三月總統選舉期間的地方政治發展進行初探分析，包括其對地方派系政治或家族勢力的影響；並瞭解未來地方自治的運作，是否將和昔日的情況明顯不同，進而出現所謂「國會地方化」的現象；其中，全文的觀察重點主要在於「小縣大鎮」的政治效應到底有哪些？與此同時，本文另就其對地方政治發展的可能不利之處，提出政策建議的改革觀點。

And finally, the author also tries to pick up some policy suggestions for the future local politics for Taiwan.
