月桃根萃取物的抗氧化活性研究

Studies on the Antioxidant Activity of Alpinia Speciosa K. Schum Extracts

摘要


實驗的設計,是以中藥月桃根作為抗氧化活性試驗篩選,並比較不同萃取溶劑下,抗氧化活性的差異,抗氧化活性試驗的評估方法包括清除α,α-dipheny1-β-picrylhydrazy1(DPPH)自由基、螯合亞鐵能力(Chelating activity on ferrous ion)與還原能力(Reducing power test)測定,並配合組、多的類含量(Total phenolic compound content)測定。 經實驗結果顯示月桃根部以95%酒精萃取物具有最明顯的清除DPPH自由基與螯合亞鐵能力,其IC50直分別為0.05±0.01mg/ml與0.17±0.02mg/ml。因此,月桃根部具有優異的抗氧化能力,特別是以95%酒精萃取物的抗氧化活性最高,具有在食品和化妝品工業上應用與開發之潛力。

This study was aimed to evaluate the antioxidant activities of three different extracts from root of Alpinia speciosa K. Schum. The antioxidant activities including the DPPH radical scavenging effect, Chelating activity on ferrous ion, Reducing power test and Total phenolic compound content. We found that the root of Alpinia speciosa K. antioxidant activities of ethanol extract had significantly the DPPH radical scavenging effect and Chelating activity on ferrousion. The IC50 value were 0.05 ±0.01mg/ml and 0.17±0.02mg/ml, respectively. The results presented that ethanol extract from Alpinia speciosa K. root had antioxidant activity. Thus, ethanol extract from Alpinia speciosa K. root possess a broad application and exploitation for cosmetic industry.
