摘要

傳統中國醫藥源遠流長，歷史悠久，它以理論與實踐密切結合、療效確定而受到國內外醫者及病患的歡迎。在傳統中國醫學理論系統中，經絡學說的產生為最早，是中醫學理論的重要組成部分，與陰陽五行、臟腑、津液氣血……等學說共同組成中醫學的理論體系，是針灸醫學的理論核心。1973年中國長沙馬王堆漢墓出土的帛書《足臂十一脈灸經》、《陰陽十一脈灸經》是現存最早的經絡學專著。距今2000年以前的《內經》更十分具體系統地講述了經絡的循行分佈、與臟腑關係、病候以及經絡系統中經別，絡脈、經筋、皮部的內容。它貫穿於中醫學的生理、病理、診斷、治療及預防等各方面，還提出了經絡的根結、標本、氣街、四海等理論。對於指導中醫針灸推拿、臨床各科具有極其重要的意義與依據。

Traditional Chinese medicine has a long standing and well established history. With a theory and practice that are highly integrated traditional Chinese medicine produces effective results and has been well received by doctors and patients both domestically and internationally.
Within the system of Chinese medicine doctrine the earliest of all theories were those of the channels and the network vessels, also known as channel theory. Channel theory is an important aspect of Chinese medicine, and along with the theories of yin and yang, five phase, viscera and bowels, fluids, qi and blood comprise the body of Chinese medicine doctrine. Channel theory is also at the heart of acupuncture theory.
In 1973 in the city of Zhang Sha, China the ancient silk books, Eleven vessels and moxibustion channels of the legs and arms and Yin, Yang and the eleven vessels and moxibustion channels were unearthed from the Han dynasty Ma Wang Dui tomb. Theses books are the oldest books devoted solely to channel theory. The Inner Cannon, written two thousand years ago gave an even more specific and complete systemization of the circulation and distribution of the channels and network vessels. In addition to expounding the relationship to the viscera, bowels and disease signs it also included the entire channel and network vessels system which covers channel divergences, network vessels, channel sinews and areas on the skin.
The teachings in the Inner Cannon cover many aspects of Chinese medicine, from physiology to pathology, diagnosis and prevention, and furthermore introduce such channel theories as, root and knot, root and branch, qi street and the four seas. The Inner Cannon provides the most important and meaningful basis for the guiding principles of Chinese medicine, acupuncture, tui na and clinical practice.
