摘要

隨著臺灣人口老化以及透析人數增加，老年透析成為一個很重要的臨床議題。心血管疾病包含缺血性心臟病、心衰竭、心律不整等，是老年透析病患最常見的死亡原因之一。在老年透析族群，心血管疾病的預測與診斷不容易。透過控制危險因子如高血壓、糖尿病、高血脂、慢性腎臟病礦物質及骨病變（chronic kidney disease-mineral and bone disorder）、貧血、抽菸、營養不良等，也許有助於減少老年透析病患心血管疾病的發生。關於老年透析病患心血管疾病，有待日後更多研究來協助釐清。

With aging and expansion of the dialysis population in Taiwan, how to manage elderly dialysis patients has become an important clinical issue. Cardiovascular diseases, including ischemic heart disease, heart failure, and arrhythmia, were the most common causes of death in elderly dialysis patients. However, the diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases in elderly dialysis patients is often difficult to make. Many risk factors are known to be associated with cardiovascular diseases. The incidence of cardiovascular diseases may be contained through modification of risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, chronic kidney disease-mineral bone disease, anemia, smoking, and malnutrition. Considering the paucity of high-quality trials, future studies are urgently warranted to clarify the special needs of this vulnerable population.
