摘要

更高、更快、更遠一直是所有運動員所追求的終極目標，而現代奧林匹克運動會就是實現這些理念的殿堂。過去，在大多數人的眼中奧林匹克運動會是男性們互相較勁力與美的競技場，直到十九世紀初，11位女性的第一次參與，才打破了奧運會多年來不變的傳統，也證明了婦女的地位在社會化的過程中逐漸提高。1960年台灣女性運動員第一次參與奧運會，代表者女性意識的抬頭，開始受到了台灣人民的認同，本文旨在探討台灣女性運動員參與奧運會的歷程，及其未來競技運動發展的方向。

Olympic Game, the roof of field competition, is a temple of excellent sport performances. Formerly, most people thought that it's a place only for male to demonstrate power, courage and skills. But in the early of nineteen century, there were eleven female athletes broke the tradition of the game, debuted and competed in the field. Female athlete appearance of Olympic Game lowed the level of discriminating against women in society.
Taiwan female athletes' first participation of Olympic game is in 1960. I can say it's a sign of the people in Taiwan began to appreciate women and to commend feminism. The purpose of this study is to cover the process of Female athletes in Taiwan to participating in Olympic Game.
