The Influence of Creatine Supplementation on Maximal Muscular Strength during Resistance Training in Weightlifters

補充肌酸對舉重選手阻力訓練期間最大肌力的影響

摘要


本研究目的在探討肌酸增補劑對舉重選手阻力訓期間最大肌力及身體組成的影響。研究以20位舉重選手為對象,隨機分成肌酸組與安慰劑組,肌酸組依體重給予肌酸補充劑(每天每公斤體重0.3g;分四次使用),安慰劑組則給予相同劑量的麥芽糊精。實驗期間,在補充劑使用前後及停用後四週內每週均收集一次次晨尿液,以了解尿液中肌酸酐係數的變化;並於分別測量體重、體脂肪、後深蹲最大肌力的變化。實驗前後並抽血測量血液中的BUN、creatinine、GOT及GPT值,以了解補充肌酸對肝、腎功能的影響。研究結果顯示:肌酸組在服用補充劑後尿肌酐係數由23.04 ± 2.79(平均數±標準差)mg/kg/d 上升至31.10 ± 5.28 mg/kg/d、後深蹲最大肌力由140.00 ± 44.85 kg增加至149.75 ± 49.70 kg,均達統計上之顯著差異(p<.05),其效果並可持續到停用二週後,而在停用四週後則不復存在。此補充方式對選手的體重及去脂體重無改變且對肝、腎功能並無不良影響。本研究結果證實補充肌酸可提升舉重選手阻力訓練期間的最大肌力。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of creatine supplementation on maximal muscle strength and body composition of weightlifters during resistance training periods. Twenty voluntarily participated weightlifters in this study and they were randomly divided into a creatine (0.3 g.kg-1.d-1 for 6 days) group and a placebo group (same dosage of maltodextrin) using a double blind research design. During the experimental periods, body composition, urinary creatinine coefficient, and maximal muscle strength of a back squat were measured. Blood BUN, creatinine, GOT, GPT were also be measured before and after supplementation. These biochemical values were used as the indicators of hepatic and renal function. The results showed that for the creatine group the urinary creatinine coefficient and maximal muscle strength a back squat significantly increased (p<0.05) from 23.04 ± 2.79 (mean ± SD) mg.kg-1 to 31.10 ± 5.28 mg.kg-1 d-1 and 140.00 ± 44.85 kg to 149.75 ± 49.70 kg, respectively. This effect was sustained for two weeks after cessation of taking creatine, and disappeared one month later. Impairments to kidney and liver function were not found. There was no significant difference in body weight and fat free mass before and after taking creatine. It is concluded that creatine supplementation can enhance the maximal muscle strength of a back squat during resistance training in weightlifters.
