美國大學通識教育近況與科技類課程之可行方案

A Study of the Current Status of General Education in American Universities and Feasible Approaches in Related Science and Technology Courses

The origin of general education and its progress in American universities were discussed. One feature is the emphasis of science and technology education, which is almost nonexistent in college general education in Taiwan. Possible approaches to remedy this situation have also been proposed.
