本文探討可供通識教育教學之用的若干基礎人類學理念。這些理念包括:人類一體性所延伸的種族平等觀念、進化觀所發展的文化多元化思想、產食革命對人類共同文化累積的意義、文化相對觀、文化研究的社會科學與人文學雙重性質等等。此外本文亦對文化人類學的田野研究方法,包括參與觀察、深度訪談以至於泛文化比較研究作探討,特別對所謂「當地人的觀點」的觀念似齜(Native's point of view)之意義有所剖析。
In this paper some basic concepts of anthropology have been discussed in the perspectives of general education, these concepts include the principle of equality in human species, the culture pluralism, the food production revolution and common cultural accumulation, the cultrual relativim and the dual nature of social science and humanities in culture studies etc. The field methods of cultural anthropology emphasizing on participant-observation, depth interview and the concept of native's point view are also delineated.
