大學運動代表隊學生挫折經驗之研究

An Exploration of Frustration among Collegiate Athletes in Taiwan

摘要


本研究旨在探討不同背景變項的大學運動代表隊學生之挫折經驗及其差異情形。首先收集分析有關挫折經驗之文獻及相關研究,並加以探討歸納;其次以自編的問卷,調查455位大學運動代表隊學生,收集客觀具體的資料,採用次數分配、因素分析、單因子變異數分析及Scheffe事後檢定等統計方法。綜合研究發現,本研究可歸納出以下的結論: 一、女生的挫折經驗多於男性。 二、全國級的運動代表隊生學業挫折經驗多於校際學生。 最後根據本研究之結果,以及所歸納之結論,提出以下建議,以供大學體育教育、體育教師、運動教練及運動代表隊學生之參考: 一、減少挫折經驗的產生並建立正確處理挫折經驗的態度。 二、輔導時應注意性別的差異性。 三、加強輔導運動代表隊學生的課業。

This study aimed at understanding the differences in experiencing frustration among students of varying background who were members of university sports delegations. This study utilized a survey to collect data from 455 athletes at universities in Taiwan. Related literature on was reviewed and discussed. Hypotheses were formulated and tested around research on endurance experiences literature. Data were analyzed using frequency, factor Analysis, One-way ANOVA, and Scheffe Post Hoc Comparisons. Findings were discussed, along with the study's practical implications and directions for future research. The study's conclusions were as followes: a. Female athletes experience more frustration than male athletes and male athletes' responses to failure were more constructive. b. The athletes who participated in national games experienced more academic failure than those who participated in intercollegiate games. Based on the conclusion of the study, the following suggestions were proposed for PE instructors, sports coaches, and athletic delegations of universities. a. help athletes modify their attitudes so they can respond more constructively when they encounter frustration. b. consider the gender differences of athletes while guiding them. c. encourage athlets' attention to academic work.
