甲狀腺Hürthle細胞癌－二例報告
Hürthle Cell Carcinoma of the Thyroid - Report of Two Cases
摘要
Hurthle細胞癌是較少見的甲狀腺癌，約佔已分化甲狀腺癌的3%-6%，易於甲狀腺內散佈，局部淋巴結及遠處轉移。Hurthle細胞癌對I-131攝取不佳，故不適用I-131來評估及治療。提出本部民國84年診斷及治療2例Hurthle細胞癌，患者分別為54歲及30歲女性，2名患者經由手術治療後於門診追蹤，情況良好，未發現有局部復發及遠處轉移。(中耳醫誌 1997;32:483-486)

Hurthle cell carcinoma is a rare thyroid cancer. It comprises approximately 3% to 6% of well differentiated thyroid cancer. It is wide accepted that Hurthle cell carcinoma is potentially life threatening. Hurthle cell carcinoma tends to intraglandular spread, metastasis to the regional lymph node, lung, bone and central nervous system. Its response of I-131 uptake is poor, hence, it is not suitable to evaluate and treat this disease with I-131. In 1995, we encountered two cases of Hurthle cell carcinoma. One was in a 54 year old female, and the other ihn a 45 year old female. Both patients received surgical treatment and regular follow-up. No local recurrence or distant metastasis has been found up to now.
