The purpose of this 2-year project is to develop a school-based integrated curriculum focusing on the affective domain. Action research is used as the major research method. In this curriculum, it is hoped to combine the goals of developmental guidance and cognitive learning. The target students for the first year project will be the grade students, and the second year project will be the grade students. The researcher first reviewed theories of affective education in the field of developmental psychology. From the review, a few themes appropriate for the students were developed. By implementing these themes into regular courses, we hope that students would gain the most profits in their mental hygiene. From this study, the researcher believes that schools in other areas could utilize these experiences and develop similar integrated curriculum on their own.
